Miami was the first city to initiate a dialogue regarding diaporas in the United States. The event took place on May 28 at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus with the participation of high level Hispanic leaders who participated on the panel entitled “Diaspora y Desarollo” (Diaspora and Development) and the launch of the book with the same name with its author Rodolfo Pou, Board of Directors President of Diaspora & Development Foundation.
Diaspora & Development Foundation is a non-profit organization whose objective is to fortify relations among the different diaporas that concludes in the United States, be a contribution to the growth of these diasporas in basic needs such as educate the immigrant environment, health, maintain the democracy in our regions and creating consciousness on the true role that the nation performs
